Abstract

Modern agriculture increasingly depends on digital technologies for crop monitoring, irrigation management, and supply chain optimization. Nevertheless, data integrity, security, and trust remain major challenges in agricultural information systems. This study proposes a hybrid framework that integrates blockchain technology with artificial intelligence to enhance security and decision-making in smart agriculture. Internet of Things (IoT) sensors continuously collect environmental parameters including soil moisture, humidity, temperature, and nutrient levels. Machine learning models predict crop health and irrigation requirements, while blockchain ensures secure storage and immutable sharing of agricultural records among stakeholders. Smart contracts automate resource allocation and transaction verification. Performance evaluation demonstrates improved prediction accuracy, transparency, and resistance to data tampering compared to conventional cloud-based agricultural systems. The proposed architecture contributes to sustainable precision agriculture by improving operational efficiency and data reliability.
