IoT for Environmental Monitoring: Leveraging Smart Sensors for Climate Resilience
Abstract
The Internet of Things (IoT) is playing a crucial role in environmental conservation by enabling real-time monitoring of air quality, water pollution, and climate patterns. This paper examines the applications of IoT in environmental sustainability, including smart air pollution monitoring, IoT-enabled water management systems, and predictive analytics for disaster prevention. It discusses challenges related to data accuracy, sensor reliability, and scalability. Case studies showcase successful IoT implementations in climate resilience, concluding with strategies for leveraging IoT to combat environmental challenges.
