Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) is revolutionizing the landscape of healthcare and life sciences, offering innovative solutions for diagnostics, treatment, drug discovery, personalized medicine, and clinical decision-making. This paper explores the multifaceted applications of LLMs and AI technologies, including their roles in automating clinical documentation, enhancing patient engagement through intelligent virtual assistants, predicting disease progression, and supporting genomic research. We also delve into case studies that illustrate the real-world impact of AI-driven solutions in clinical workflows and pharmaceutical research. Moreover, the paper discusses the challenges related to data privacy, model interpretability, regulatory compliance, and ethical considerations. By examining current capabilities and emerging trends, this study aims to highlight how LLMs and AI are poised to shape the future of healthcare and life sciences with greater efficiency, precision, and accessibility.
