GenAI in Healthcare: Revolutionizing Diagnostics, Drug Discovery, and Patient Interaction
Abstract
Generative AI is transforming healthcare by enabling intelligent diagnostic tools, accelerating drug discovery, and enhancing patient engagement. This paper reviews the state-of-the-art GenAI applications in medical imaging, synthetic molecule generation, and AI-powered chatbots for mental health. We discuss regulatory and ethical challenges, such as explainability and data sensitivity, and outline a framework for safe and effective deployment. The paper concludes with future prospects for GenAI integration in precision medicine and telehealth.
